Lion 2.0 is a 2019 recreation of a previous painting, Lion (2014) which served as the birth of my surreal anthropomorphized animal series. The purpose of Lion 2.0 is to serve as a way of showcasing my growth as an artist over the past 5 years.
The animal series as a whole is meant to reflect our inner animals, hiding behind status and material items, desperately trying to not be seen as an animal by society.
