Ruminating 2021 is part of my annual Paint Palette Series. Every year since 2019 Ive been saving up my paint palettes, and at the end of the year I rip them up and make something new out of them. During the process of ripping them up and sorting the colours I reflect on the previous year and what it means to me. For 2021 is was a rebirth. With the world opening up again from Covid-19 so did my art career. After an uncertain 2020, 2021 brought about a ton of change and new vision for my work. Ruminating 2021 captures that rebirth. 

"We all have your struggles in life. But it’s from these struggles that our seeds can germinate. And the daily trash that gets dumped on us serves as the fertilizer to help us grow and overcome. And it is from this struggle that we can grow in to our most beautiful bouquet of flowers."
